In the X-Axis increase with the Z-column, can you answer a few questions for me:

What did you mill on the z-column dovetails?
I can see where you have it mounted on its side on the stock x-axis table, but, can't tell what you are doing there.

How much did you mill off of the top of the dovetails?

In one set of the images you show something mounted inside the Z-column that next has the lead screw mounted to it and the steppers mounted to that. Can you give measurements on those items and some more detail?

My bad - yes, I have the X2 Freak DVD. I just dug through it again and that info appears to be on it. Thanks for reminding me to RTM.
